Editorial Print Design for:
This Old House Magazine & Consumer Reports Magazine

To present clear editorial story-telling from often complex or brand specific language. The sophisticated reader also requires a thoughtful approach to complement a high sense of esthetics and education. From Time Inc. to Consumer Reports, every topic or process is throughly researched and presented in a clearly defined package via typography, imagery and headlines.

Editorial Print Design for:
The Wall Street Journal

I was brought in to elevate the Skyboxes on page one of the paper to promote the Personal Journal section in the Wall Street Journal. I also designed internal pages as well as the entire front pages when needed. I implemented the branded logo for the Personal Journal section and used photography of featured stories within. Strangely enough, this was not done previously.
My work: Design, Photoshop, Dow Jones proprietary CMS,

Print Design for:
The 2016 Consumer Electronics Show

To introduce the new Altec Lansing line of audio products at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. I created broad lifestyle graphics for Sirk Productions using Altec Lansing products that tell a story of adventurous, carefree fun. In the latest offering in this series, audio products were challenged by professional snowboarders and snowmobile riders in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and blasted by high-powered slap shots from the New York Islanders. Twenty-five separate images were built for the the show booth, some being 15 feet tall.
My work: Lead Design, Content organization, Photoshop, custom
CSS, HTML.

This project was completed with a Adobe Photoshop and OnOne Perfect Resize.

Print Design for:
Teachers Kit-Brooklyn Historical Society

As the Art Director, I created a graphic language that adheres to the Core Curriculum, and more importantly, a design to help a student discern primary and secondary source materials when performing research on a project. Once content was placed within an intelligent grid, we could create unique self-contained sections that allowed additional student groups to simultaneous use the kits for research and present their findings. The kids, grades 6-12, would be handling the pages, so we printed on a laminated, high-fibre stock that could withstand repeated use in the classroom.
