To create a kit for New York history curriculum, using primary-source documents and images.


As the Art Director, I created a graphic language that adheres to the Core Curriculum, and more importantly, a design to help a student discern primary and secondary source materials when performing research on a project. Once content was placed within an intelligent grid, we could create unique self-contained sections that allowed additional student groups to simultaneous use the kits for research and present their findings. The kids, grades 6-12, would be handling the pages, so we printed on a laminated, high-fibre stock that could withstand repeated use in the classroom.
