To guide our J-1 Visa participants through NYC and suggest cultural itineraries including museums, landmarks, restaurants, and more.
For years, InterExchange handed out free NYC maps for all J-1 Visa participants visiting the city. The problem was that the free maps were hard to read and impersonal. I proposed and developed a map that lists only the most culturally rich spots in NYC, and since the J-1 Visa participants had only a brief window of time, I also developed itineraries to fit into different time frames (1–2 Hours, 1-Day, etc).
This project was completed with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I used Gotham and Archer from Hoefler. Printed on-demand in our offices.
